A refined surgical approach to breast elevation and contour.

Surgical Focus Areas

Breast Position

Correction of breast descent to restore a more elevated and balanced appearance.

Nipple-Areola Complex

Repositioning to improve alignment and proportion relative to the breast mound.

Skin Quality

Assessment and management of excess or stretched skin affecting breast shape.

Incision Planning

Strategic incision placement based on anatomy and degree of lift required.

About the Procedure

A breast lift, medically known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to raise and reshape the breasts by addressing sagging tissue and repositioning the nipple-areola complex.

This procedure is commonly considered when changes in breast position occur due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, aging, or natural loss of skin elasticity.

Rather than increasing breast volume, a breast lift focuses on improving breast contour, firmness, and overall positioning while preserving natural proportions.

Each surgical plan is developed based on breast anatomy, degree of ptosis, skin quality, and individual goals to ensure a personalized and clinically appropriate approach.

How the Procedure Is Performed

Preoperative Planning

Before surgery, a detailed evaluation of breast anatomy is performed, including degree of ptosis, skin quality, nipple position, and breast volume. Incision pattern and lift technique are selected based on these findings and the desired level of correction.

Anesthesia & Surgical Setting

The procedure is performed under anesthesia in a controlled surgical environment to ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the operation.

Incision Placement

Incisions are strategically placed to allow effective lifting and reshaping while supporting scar concealment. The incision pattern varies depending on the degree of sagging and may include periareolar, vertical, or inframammary components.

Tissue Reshaping

Underlying breast tissue is reshaped and supported to improve contour and firmness. Excess skin is carefully removed to address laxity and restore a more elevated breast position.

Nipple-Areola Repositioning

The nipple-areola complex is repositioned to a more anatomically appropriate height while preserving sensation and blood supply whenever possible.

Closure & Support

Incisions are closed in layers with attention to wound support and healing. Surgical dressings and supportive garments are applied to help protect the surgical site during early recovery.

Our Simple Process

Is This Right for Me?

Breast Ptosis

This procedure is most appropriate for individuals with breast sagging caused by skin laxity, tissue descent, or nipple position changes over time or after pregnancy.

Overall Health

Candidates are generally in good overall health, without uncontrolled medical conditions that could increase surgical or anesthetic risk during the procedure.

Skin Quality

Adequate skin quality and elasticity are important factors in achieving stable lifting and reshaping outcomes following surgical correction.

Expectations

Candidates should have realistic expectations and understand that a breast lift reshapes and elevates the breasts without significantly increasing volume.

Discover Helpful Information About Your Journey With Us

A breast lift reshapes and elevates the breasts but does not significantly increase volume. When additional fullness is desired, augmentation may be discussed as a separate or combined procedure based on anatomy and goals.

Incisions are placed strategically to allow effective lifting while supporting scar concealment. Scarring is a normal part of surgery, and with proper healing, scars typically fade and become less noticeable over time.

Recovery varies by individual and surgical technique. Most patients experience swelling and discomfort that gradually improve over several weeks, with follow-up care guiding a safe return to daily activities.

In some cases, a breast lift may be safely combined with procedures such as breast augmentation or reduction. This decision is based on medical evaluation, anatomy, and overall safety considerations.
