Dr. Wilton Triggs is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon with formal residency training in Plastic Surgery at the University of South Florida, where he served as Chief Resident within the Department of Plastic Surgery. He became the program’s first Black Chief Resident, reflecting academic leadership and clinical distinction. He earned his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating with Honors, and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama at Birmingham with University Honors in Chemistry, concentrating in Biochemistry with minors in Mathematics and Biology.
His surgical training encompasses both aesthetic and reconstructive disciplines, including body contouring, breast surgery, and complex tissue management.
