Arm Lift in Miami

Tighten and tone. Reveal sculpted, defined arms.

Arm Lift Techniques

Traditional Arm Lift

Removes excess skin and fat along the inner arm through an incision from the underarm toward the elbow, delivering the most dramatic tightening for significant skin laxity.

Mini (Short-Scar) Arm Lift

Targets mild looseness near the upper arm and underarm through a shorter, well-hidden incision — ideal for patients with limited excess skin.

Arm Lift with Liposuction

Combines skin tightening with liposuction to remove stubborn fat and refine the arm’s overall contour for a smoother, more toned result.

About the Procedure

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a body-contouring procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper arms. It is especially helpful after significant weight loss or age-related skin laxity, restoring a firmer, more defined arm contour that better matches the rest of your body.

How the Procedure Is Performed

Anesthesia and Incision Placement:

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Incisions are placed along the inner or back of the upper arm, positioned to stay as discreet as possible within the natural contours of the arm.

Excess Skin & Fat Removal:

Excess, loose skin is removed and underlying fat is refined — often with liposuction — to reveal a tighter, smoother arm. The remaining tissue is then re-draped over the new contour.

Closure and Recovery Planning:

Once the desired contour is achieved, incisions are carefully closed in layers to support healing and minimize scarring. You will receive detailed recovery guidance, including compression garment use and activity timelines.

Frequently Asked Questions

Discover Helpful Information About Your Journey With Us

No. Liposuction removes fat but does not tighten skin. An arm lift removes excess, loose skin — and is often combined with liposuction when both stubborn fat and sagging skin are present.
Most patients return to light daily activities within 1–2 weeks and resume strenuous exercise around 4–6 weeks. A compression garment supports healing, and swelling continues to improve over the following weeks.
An arm lift does leave a scar along the inner or back of the upper arm. Incisions are placed as discreetly as possible, and scars typically fade significantly over time with proper care.
Beforehand you will have a consultation and pre-operative guidance. Afterward you will wear a compression garment, follow activity and wound-care instructions, and attend follow-up visits so we can monitor your healing.
